Amazing Sushi as usual! First time eating in for me. A little confused as to the sit down protocol as our order was not taken immediately. Quite speedy service and a great place to experience the tastes of Japan in a local setting.

This place was not as good as expected. They screwed up my whole order, gave me a beer that had been sitting in the fridge that was open the whole time and who knows for how long. The smoked salmon was definitely not smoked salmon. The sashimi was still frozen. Really horrible service. This is the first in a while time I've had this bad of service. The waitress never came back to see how my meal was. The experience all-around was bad. Can say that I'll never return to this restaurant again fortunately.

Very good sushi, hard to say if it's the best in town but it's my go to place.

Very nice place to sit down or order from

All of the tables were dirty when I went in there. I went to the front to ask where we could sit and she said that they would need 1/2 an hour to clean off the tables. Definitely does not take that long to clear off a table and serve someone. Thanks for nothing Sushi Garden!

Good and fresh sushi

Really good food, was impressed. Only issue was I ordered octopus and it was a bit frozen still, but everything else was fresh and delicious 👌Their Salmon Nigiri is 😍😍

Consistantly great food for a great price.

Sushi Garden has always been a favoured local spot for Asian cuisine with a strong focus on Japanese food. They will be happy to serve you everything from Seafood to Noodle/Stir Fry dishes and everything in between. A definite recommendation for any Sushi lover as you will not leave hungry or unsatisfied! As a bonus, this is a very quiet place to enjoy your food and escape the busy atmosphere of other noisy Main Street locations.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I feel like their sushi is really good considering it's Steinbach. You'd pay more for the same quality in Winnipeg. I do find that service is hit or miss in terms of timeliness and checking up on my table, which is a bit of a drawback. My favourite roll has always been the dynamite roll but the last two times I've gone the shrimp tempura inside has been obviously a reheated or second-day piece. Pretty easy to tell since the tempura coating was soggy rather than crisp. I even added an order of tempura the second time (thinking that since the fryer was going they'd cook a fresh piece for my roll but no such luck).Overall I still like the place and I'll keep going back. Might not order the dynamite roll anymore since it's not great without that crispy tempura bite in the middle, but they have a lot of selection.

They have amazing food. The service is great. They have an relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We love it.

We've been here 3x and it's been a near disaster everytime. Weve only gone bc of a snow storm going to winnipeg. Literally screwed everything up from the warm water to our rolls. Waitress was very apologetic and they corrected our rolls immediately.

LOVE their sushi. I'm originally from Vancouver and while it's more expensive than there ( naturally) it's decently priced for Manitoba and their quality is the same as most restaurants in Vancouver, which is a rare thing.

We love this place! We usually get a dynamite roll, teriyaki chicken or beef noodles, and something we haven't tried before. It's always been delicious.

Good sushi for a small-town restaurant. Family run joint at very affordable prices. Not the greatest soup or beverage choices however.

Best sushi in town

I had been here twice and both times came down with food poisoning a couple hours later. It’s been a year and I decided to give them another shot yesterday, and what do you know? Vomiting a couple hours later and obvious food poisoning overnight, tapering off into the following afternoon. Food is okay, extra salty though and wasn’t thrilled with the minimal menu. Sorry, I’m all about supporting local but I really gave this place a fair chance. When I called the first and second time they brushed me off quite poorly. Didn’t bother this time. Ew.

Worst sushi we ever had sashimi was very bitter and the dynamiye rolls were more like california rolls.service wasn't good we will never go back again.

Decent sushi, worth visiting especially if you crave sushi.Also not very expensive and fast service5 stars not because it's the best sushi ever, but because no alternative in Steinbach for sushi plus reasonably priced I definitely will visit this place again

Really great food. Nice. Service was fantastic. We did take away and it was ready super fast. We are from Australia and it was quite comparable to some of the sushi there at a better price here. Highly recommended
